About Us
Founded
in 2023, J. Farm Initiative promotes agroecology and organic agricultural
transformation in South Sudan by training farmers in sustainable practices. Its
core mission is to enhance food production, increase incomes, restore
environmental health, and revitalize indigenous crops, with education and
training as a primary focus.
J. Farm Initiative implements
traditional organic and agroecological farming approaches to enhance soil
nourishment and mitigate crop yield risks, prioritizing education and training
to meet future agricultural needs, preserve cultural traditions, and ensure
sustainable environmental and community well-being.

farming, and cooperative management; creating roles for youth in farming,
marketing, and community outreach; encouraging youth to take on leadership
positions in cooperatives or project teams; involving youth in community-based
agricultural projects; pairing young volunteers with experienced farmers or
project leaders; and recognizing their contributions through awards,
certificates, or incentives.

integrating youth into its programs, the J. Farm Initiative can build a
sustainable, engaged, and empowered agricultural community in South Sudan.
